Gerald Alston

GERALD ALSTON, nacido el 8 de noviembre de 1951 en Henderson, Carolina del Norte, es un cantante de soul y R&B conocido por ser el vocalista principal del grupo ganador del Grammy The Manhattans desde finales de 1970 hasta 1988. Durante su tiempo con el grupo, grabó 25 sencillos que llegaron al top 40 de R&B y 12 sencillos en el Hot 100 de Pop. En 1988, Alston dejó The Manhattans para seguir una carrera en solitario, lanzando cinco álbumes y diez sencillos, incluyendo éxitos como “Take Me Where You Want To” y "Slow Motion"
