Marc Almond

MARC ALMOND es un cantante y compositor británico conocido por su distintiva voz y su estilo ecléctico. Nacido el 9 de julio de 1957, Almond ganó fama como la mitad del dúo synth-pop Soft Cell, que tuvo un gran éxito en los años 80 con canciones como “Tainted Love” y “Bedsitter”. Después de la disolución de Soft Cell, Almond continuó una exitosa carrera en solitario, explorando una variedad de géneros musicales, desde pop y new wave hasta chanson y música de cabaret. A lo largo de su carrera, ha lanzado más de una docena de álbumes en solitario y ha colaborado con una variedad de artistas. A pesar de los altibajos de su carrera, Almond ha dejado una huella duradera en la música pop británica.
