Rocky Sharpe And The Replays

ROCKY SHARPE AND THE REPLAYS fue una banda británica de rock and roll y doo-wop formada en 1978 por Robert Podsiadly (Rocky Sharpe), su hermano Jan Podsiadly (Johnny Stud), Helen Blizard (Helen Highwater) y Mike Vernon (Eric Rondo). La banda alcanzó la fama con su versión del clásico “Rama Lama Ding Dong” y continuó lanzando éxitos como “Shout! Shout!” y “Love Will Make You Fail in School”. Con un estilo nostálgico que evocaba la música de los años 50 y 60, lograron un seguimiento fiel, especialmente en España. A pesar de su éxito inicial, la banda se disolvió en 1984 debido a problemas de salud de Rocky Sharpe, quien fue diagnosticado con esclerosis múltiple a finales de los años 80
