TAFFY, cuyo nombre real es Katherine Quaye, nació en 1963 en Deptford, Londres. Es una cantante británica de Hi-NRG y Italo disco conocida principalmente por su éxito de 1985, "I Love My Radio (Midnight Radio)". Producida por Claudio Cecchetto, la canción se convirtió en un éxito internacional, alcanzando el puesto número 6 en el Reino Unido y el número 35 en Alemania1. A lo largo de su carrera, Taffy lanzó varios sencillos y colaboró en proyectos como la versión de "Let It Be" de Ferry Aid en 1987. Su estilo único y su conexión con la música de baile de los años 80 la han convertido en una figura icónica del Italo disco
