Television Personalities

TELEVISION PERSONALITIES fue una banda de post-punk inglesa formada en 1977 por el cantautor londinense Dan Treacy. Su carrera variada y volátil abarca el post punk, la neo-psicodelia y el pop indie; siendo la única constante la composición de canciones de Treacy. Los miembros presentes y pasados incluyen a los amigos de la infancia de Chelsea ‘Slaughter Joe’ Joe Foster, Ed Ball (alineación temprana, más tarde brevemente) y Jowe Head (ex-Swell Maps), con Jeffrey Bloom de 1983-941. A pesar de esto, Television Personalities es más conocida por su sencillo temprano “Part Time Punks”, favorito de John Peel.
