The Hitmen

THE HITMEN fue una banda británica de new wave formada en 1979 en Londres. Durante su corta existencia, hasta 1982, dejaron una marca indeleble en la escena musical con su estilo distintivo. Lanzaron dos álbumes, “Aim for the Feet” en 1980 y “Torn Together” en 1981, así como siete singles bajo el sello Columbia. Aunque no alcanzaron un éxito masivo, su single “Bates Motel” de 1981 se convirtió en un hit menor, recibiendo amplia difusión en la radio del Reino Unido y apareciendo en el canal MTV de Estados Unidos1. Miembros de la banda continuaron teniendo carreras exitosas en otros proyectos notables y en la producción musical, como Alan Wilder, quien se unió a Depeche Mode, y Ben Watkins, que formó Juno Reactor
