The Soup Dragons

THE SOUP DRAGONS fue una banda escocesa de rock alternativo, formada en 1985 en Bellshill, cerca de Glasgow. Su nombre está inspirado en un personaje de una serie infantil de los años 70. Su estilo musical fue variando desde el indie pop y el punk hasta el rock-dance y el baggy. Su mayor éxito fue su versión de I’m Free de los Rolling Stones, que llegó al puesto número 5 en el Reino Unido en 1990. La banda se separó en 1995, después de cuatro álbumes de estudio
