The Weather Prophets

THE WEATHER PROPHETS fue una banda británica de indie rock formada en Londres en 1986. La banda fue fundada por Peter Astor (voz, guitarra) y Dave Morgan (batería), quienes habían sido miembros de la banda de indie pop The Loft. The Weather Prophets es conocida por su sonido jangly y melódico y sus letras introspectivas. Aunque no lograron un gran éxito comercial, la banda lanzó dos álbumes, “Mayflower” en 1987 y “Judgement Day” en 1989, que fueron bien recibidos en la escena indie. La banda se disolvió en 1988, pero su música sigue siendo apreciada por los fanáticos del indie rock.
