Vivabeat

VIVABEAT fue una banda de techno-pop de Los Ángeles, formada en 1978 y activa hasta mediados de los 80. Fue descubierta y fichada por Peter Gabriel, convirtiéndose en la primera banda estadounidense en el sello británico Charisma Records. Su canción más exitosa fue Man From China, que se convirtió en un hit en las pistas de baile de Estados Unidos, Europa y Asia. La banda se disolvió en 1983, tras publicar un segundo EP con otro sello y participar en la banda sonora de la película Body Double, de Brian DePalma
