Altered Images

ALTERED IMAGES es una banda escocesa de new wave/post-punk formada en 1979 en Glasgow, Escocia, por Clare Grogan, Gerard “Caesar” McInulty, Michael “Tich” Anderson, Tony McDaid y Johnny McElhone. A lo largo de su carrera, la banda ha lanzado varios álbumes y sencillos, incluyendo éxitos como “Happy Birthday”, “I Could Be Happy”, “See Those Eyes” y “Don’t Talk to Me About Love”. Después de recibir el apoyo del DJ de la BBC Radio 1, John Peel, la banda firmó un contrato de grabación con Epic Records. Su sencillo “Happy Birthday” alcanzó el número 2 en el Reino Unido en octubre de 1981, catapultando a la banda a la fama.
