BLACK, cuyo nombre real era Colin Vearncombe, nació el 26 de mayo de 1962 en Liverpool, Inglaterra. Comenzó su carrera musical con el lanzamiento de “Human Features” en 1981 y alcanzó el éxito internacional con el single “Wonderful Life” en 1987. Conocido por su voz barítona y su estilo jazz-pop, Vearncombe tuvo una carrera activa hasta su fallecimiento en enero de 2016
