BUDDY CURTESS AND THE GRASSHOPPERS es una banda de rock y soul formada en 1983 en el sur de Londres. Conocidos por sus increíbles actuaciones en vivo, fueron nombrados "Mejor Banda en Vivo" por Time Out durante dos años consecutivos. La banda ha realizado giras con artistas como Roy Orbison, The Beach Boys, The Cure, Bad Manners y The Stranglers. En 1986, tocaron en el escenario principal del festival de Glastonbury, con una transmisión en vivo por Radio 1. Han lanzado varios singles exitosos, incluyendo "Hello Suzie", "Shout" y "Shoobee Baby", que alcanzaron las listas de éxitos del Reino Unido.
