Captain Sensible

CAPTAIN SENSIBLE, cuyo nombre real es Raymond Ian Burns, nació el 24 de abril de 1954 en Balham, Londres. Es un músico inglés conocido por ser cofundador de la banda de punk rock The Damned en 1976, donde inicialmente tocaba el bajo antes de cambiar a la guitarra. Con su distintivo atuendo que incluye una boina roja y gafas de sol, generalmente con monturas blancas, Captain Sensible también ha disfrutado de una exitosa carrera en solitario, logrando un hit número uno en el Reino Unido con su versión de “Happy Talk” de Rodgers y Hammerstein en 1982, y otros éxitos como “Wot” y “Glad It’s All Over”. Además de su música, en 2006 fundó el Blah! Party y continúa actuando con The Damned
