CARMEL es una banda británica formada en Manchester en 1982, conocida por su mezcla única de jazz, blues, gospel y pop. La banda está liderada por la cantante Carmel McCourt, cuya voz distintiva es complementada por el bajista Jim Parris y el baterista Gerry Darby. Su música se caracteriza por su energía emocional y su estilo ecléctico, que les ha ganado una base de fans leal y el reconocimiento en la escena musical del Reino Unido y más allá
