EUGENE “CHEVY” CHIVERTON, oriundo de Brown Hill Village, es una figura destacada en la cultura de St. Christopher y Nevis, reconocido por su contribución significativa en el campo de la cultura. Su pasión por la música comenzó en la década de 1970, y tras ser alentado por líderes de bandas, se convirtió en vocalista de The Crazy Cats y The JB’s. En 1979, al regresar a Nevis, se unió a la banda Soul Survivors y produjo el éxito local “Nevis Action”. Además, abrió la primera tienda de impresión de camisetas en Nevis, que también ofrecía moda y música. Su colaboración con el profesor Arthur “Art” De Coteau dio lugar a éxitos como “Rasta Man Jam”, “Maria-Do-Do”, “Ge Me More” y “Rosalie”, con “Maria-Do-Do” alcanzando el número uno en St. Marten.
