Cindy & The Saffrons

CINDY & THE SAFFRONS fue un grupo vocal del Reino Unido compuesto por Joanne Whalley como “Cindy” y Lindsay Neil y Sally Stairs como “The Saffrons”. Formadas en 1982, son conocidas por su versión de la canción “Past, Present and Future” de The Shangri-Las, grabada en los estudios Abbey Road. Su versión de “Terry”, originalmente de Twinkle, alcanzó el puesto número 56 en la UK Singles Chart en enero de 1983. Poco después del lanzamiento de “Terry”, el grupo se disolvió y Whalley se centró en su carrera como actriz
