Claire Hamill

CLAIRE HAMILL es una cantautora inglesa nacida el 4 de agosto de 1954 en Port Clarence, County Durham, Reino Unido. Comenzó su carrera en la música a los 17 años y fue una de las primeras cantautoras femeninas de Gran Bretaña, lanzada en 1971. Su talento la llevó a comparaciones con Joni Mitchell y a giras con artistas como John Martyn, Procol Harum y Jethro Tull. Firmó con el sello Konk de Ray Davies para su tercer álbum y colaboró con Steve Howe de Yes y Wishbone Ash. En la década de 1980, se reinventó como artista de new age, lo que le valió encargos de la BBC y Channel 4. Su música ha sido utilizada en series como ‘Domesday’ de la BBC1, y sigue siendo una figura respetada en la escena musical
