Classix Nouveaux

CLASSIX NOUVEAUX C fue una banda inglesa de new wave formada en 1979 tras la ruptura del grupo punk X-Ray Spex. Los miembros originales eran Sal Solo, Mike Sweeney, Gary Steadman y Paul Hurding. Aunque solo tuvieron un éxito moderado en su país natal, el Reino Unido, con su éxito de 1982 “Is It a Dream”, la banda tuvo éxitos número uno en Polonia, Portugal, Yugoslavia, Israel, Islandia y otros países. En 1981, lanzaron su primer álbum, “Night People”, y en 1982, su segundo álbum “La Verité” trajo a la banda su mayor éxito. La banda se disolvió en 1985
