Clint Eastwood & General Saint

CLINT EASTWOOD & GENERAL SAINT fueron un dúo de deejays de reggae de principios de los años 80, compuesto por Clint Eastwood, cuyo verdadero nombre es Robert Anthony Brammer, y General Saint, nacido Winston Hislop. Eastwood ya era un deejay solista establecido con varios álbumes cuando se unió al deejay británico Saint. Su primer lanzamiento fue “Tribute to General Echo”, en honor al deejay de slack recientemente fallecido. Lograron entrar en las listas de éxitos del Reino Unido con su versión de “Last Plane (One Way Ticket)” en 1984. Ambos álbumes de estudio del dúo alcanzaron el Top 5 de la lista independiente del Reino Unido. Saint continuó con una carrera en solitario, lanzando sencillos como “Save the Last Dance for Me” y “Oh Carol”, y el dúo se reunió para actuar en el festival Luton Love Music Hate Racism
