Comateens

COMATEENS, un grupo de new wave formado en 1978 en Nueva York, inicialmente consistía en Nic North y Ramona Jan, pero luego se unió Lyn Byrd y, tras la salida de Jan, Oliver North. Grabaron su álbum debut en 1981, que se convirtió en un favorito de culto, especialmente en Europa. Lanzaron dos LP más antes de separarse en 1985. Tras la muerte de North, Byrd y Nicholas West se reunieron bajo el nombre de West and Byrd. En 1990, grabaron “A Place For Me” bajo el nombre de Comateens, que se convirtió en un éxito en Europa.
