Delegation

DELEGATION es un grupo musical de funk, soul, R&B y disco formado en 1976 por Len Coley, Rick Bailey y Roddy Harris. Fueron descubiertos por el productor y compositor Ken Gold, quien también escribió y produjo éxitos como “You to Me Are Everything”. Lanzaron su primer sencillo, “The Promise of Love”, en 1976, aunque no tuvo mucho éxito. Sin embargo, su segundo sencillo, “Where Is the Love (We Used to Know)”, logró entrar en las listas de éxitos del Reino Unido en 1977. A lo largo de los años, el grupo ha experimentado varios cambios de formación y ha lanzado varios éxitos. Aunque el grupo continuó con menos éxito después de 1981, siguieron lanzando música y actuando hasta finales de la década. En la década de 1990, Bailey se reunió con Gold para formar Euro Jam Records, y en 1999, el grupo lanzó “Encore” en Europa, que fue la última grabación de Delegation.
