Dennis Brown

DENNIS BROWN, también conocido como “El príncipe heredero del reggae”, fue un músico jamaicano de reggae nacido el 1 de febrero de 1957 en Kingston, Jamaica. Su padre, Arthur Brown, periodista y guionista, y su hermano Basil influyeron considerablemente en su motivación por la música. Comenzó su carrera musical en 1970 y continuó hasta 1999. Con apenas 11 años grabó su primer gran éxito “No man is an Island” en 1969. En 1972, grabó la canción “Money in my Pocket” que le abrió las puertas internacionalmente y que lo transformó en una estrella del género en su país con tan solo 16 años. Muchos lo consideran como el sucesor de Bob Marley. Falleció el 1 de julio de 1999
