Devo

DEVO es una banda estadounidense de rock formada en 1973 en las ciudades de Kent y Akron, Ohio. Su formación clásica incluye a los hermanos Mark y Bob Mothersbaugh, y Gerald y Bob Casale, junto con el baterista Alan Myers. Conocidos por su estilo new wave y synth-pop, Devo se destacó por su enfoque satírico y crítico hacia la sociedad, utilizando elementos de ciencia ficción y humor surrealista en sus presentaciones y videoclips. Su sencillo más famoso, “Whip It”, alcanzó el puesto número 14 en el Billboard en 1980, consolidando su lugar en la historia de la música alternativa.
