Dexy's Midnight Runners

DEXY'S MIDNIGHT RUNNERS fue una banda británica de pop rock con influencia soul y celta, fundada en 1978 por Kevin Rowland y Kevin "Al" Archer. La banda tuvo un gran éxito en los años ochenta con canciones como "Geno" y "Come On Eileen", que llegaron al número uno en el Reino Unido y Estados Unidos. Dexy's se caracterizó por sus constantes cambios de formación, estilo y vestuario, y se disolvió en 1987. Rowland reformó la banda en 2003 con nuevos y antiguos miembros, y lanzó dos álbumes más bajo el nombre de Dexys.
