Donna Summer

DONNA SUMMER, cuyo nombre real era LaDonna Adrian Gaines, nació el 31 de diciembre de 1948 en Boston, Massachusetts, y falleció el 17 de mayo de 2012 en Naples, Florida. Conocida como la “Reina del Disco”, su carrera despegó durante la era disco de los años 70, gracias a su colaboración con los productores Giorgio Moroder y Pete Bellotte, con quienes creó éxitos que definieron el género como “Love to Love You Baby” y “I Feel Love”. Summer fue una artista prolífica que dejó un legado de éxitos, incluyendo “Last Dance”, “Hot Stuff”, “Bad Girls”, y “She Works Hard for the Money”, y fue la primera artista en tener tres álbumes dobles consecutivos en alcanzar el número uno en las listas de Billboard.
