Fingerprintz

FINGERPRINTZ fue una banda de New Wave formada en 1978 en Escocia. Originalmente, el grupo estaba compuesto por Jimme O’Neill, Kenny Alton, y Cha Burnz. Su primer sencillo se lanzó en enero de 1979, y su álbum debut se lanzó en septiembre del mismo año, con Jimme O’Neill asumiendo las voces principales. Su música es difícil de categorizar, lo que puede explicar por qué el grupo nunca tuvo un gran seguimiento. A pesar de esto, produjeron una serie de álbumes con letras peculiares y una mezcla de pop y letras extrañas a bizarras2. Aunque la banda no tuvo un gran éxito comercial, su influencia en la música New Wave es innegable
