Freddie James

FREDDIE JAMES es un músico canadiense de dance y rhythm and blues, conocido por su éxito disco de 1979 “(Everybody) Get Up and Boogie”. Nacido en Chicago, Illinois, se mudó a Montreal, Quebec en su infancia. A la edad de 14 años, lanzó el EP de cuatro canciones Get Up and Boogie en 1979. Recibió dos nominaciones al Premio Juno en los Premios Juno de 1980. En 1985, apareció en una producción de Montreal de Hair. En 1987, tuvo un papel secundario en la película Wild Thing. En 1992, lanzó el álbum más influenciado por el hip hop Come into the Jungle en Monogram Records. En 1999 apareció en el álbum de su madre Soultry, Jazzy and Sexy.
