George Clinton

GEORGE CLINTON (nacido el 22 de julio de 1941 en Kannapolis, Carolina del Norte) es un cantante, compositor y productor estadounidense, considerado uno de los padres del funk y uno de los músicos más innovadores y originales de todos los tiempos. Fue el líder de las bandas Parliament y Funkadelic, que fusionaron el funk con el rock psicodélico y la ciencia ficción, creando el estilo conocido como P-Funk. Entre sus canciones más famosas se encuentran Atomic Dog, Flash Light, One Nation Under a Groove y Give Up the Funk. Ha sido influencia y colaborador de numerosos artistas de rap, R&B y rock, y ha sido incluido en el Salón de la Fama del Rock and Roll
