Herbie Hancock

HERBIE HANCOCK, nacido como Herbert Jeffrey Hancock, es un pianista, tecladista y compositor estadounidense de jazz. Desde su debut en la década de 1960, Hancock ha explorado diversos estilos jazzísticos y ha sido pionero en la fusión del jazz con otros géneros como el funk, el R&B y la música electrónica. Es conocido por su innovación constante, su habilidad para mezclar elementos acústicos y electrónicos, y por ser uno de los primeros en adoptar el piano eléctrico Rhodes y el clavinet Hohner. Autor de clásicos como “Watermelon Man” y “Cantaloupe Island”, Hancock ha dejado una huella indeleble en la música contemporánea
