Howard Devoto

HOWARD DEVOTO, cuyo nombre real es Howard Andrew Trafford, nació el 15 de marzo de 1952 en Scunthorpe, Inglaterra. Es un músico británico conocido por ser el vocalista original de Buzzcocks y fundador de Magazine, dos bandas influyentes en la escena punk y post-punk. Tras dejar Buzzcocks en 1977, formó Magazine, con la que lanzó varios álbumes aclamados por la crítica. En 1983, lanzó su único álbum en solitario, Jerky Versions of the Dream. Posteriormente, formó la banda Luxuria y, tras un periodo de inactividad, reformó Magazine en 2009. Devoto es conocido por su estilo vocal distintivo y su capacidad para fusionar géneros musicales
