Hula

HULA fue una banda formada en Sheffield, Inglaterra, en 1981 por el guitarrista y experimentador de cintas Ron Wright, con John Avery como miembro constante. Influenciados por Cabaret Voltaire y otros artistas electrónicos/ambientales, Hula añadió un borde más industrial y un enfoque experimental a su música. Su primer sencillo fue producido por Stephen Mallinder de Cabaret Voltaire; su álbum debut, Cut From Inside, fue lanzado en 1983. Disfrutaron de sus tendencias más artísticas en 1986 con 1,000 Hours, un álbum doble mitad en vivo, mitad en estudio. Su último lanzamiento de larga duración de material nuevo fue Voice en 1986
