Instant Funk

INSTANT FUNK fue una banda estadounidense de funk y disco que se formó en los años 70 y que tuvo varios éxitos en las listas de música. La banda se originó como una banda de acompañamiento de varios artistas de Filadelfia, como The O’Jays, Harold Melvin & the Blue Notes o Lou Rawls. Su nombre se debe a que podían crear un sonido funk al instante. Su mayor éxito fue el single I Got My Mind Made Up (You Can Get It Girl), que llegó al número 1 en las listas de R&B y disco en 1979
