Ippu-Do

IPPU-DO fue un trío japonés de synth-pop de principios de los años 80 liderado por el cantante y compositor Masami Tsuchiya. Debutaron en 1979 con el álbum Normal y publicaron otros dos álbumes más: Real y Radio Fantasy. Su estilo musical combinaba elementos del synth-pop, el rock, el reggae, el funk y la música tradicional japonesa. En 1982, hicieron una pausa en su carrera, y Tsuchiya se unió a la banda británica Japan como guitarrista. En 1983, volvieron a grabar como dúo el álbum Night Mirage y el directo Live and Zen, con la colaboración de otros músicos. Después de eso, Tsuchiya continuó su carrera en solitario y Ippu-Do se disolvió
