JOE JACKSON BAND surgió en la escena musical a finales de los años 70, liderada por el talentoso Joe Jackson. Con un estilo que abarcaba desde el new wave hasta el pop jazz, la banda se destacó por su energía y la habilidad de Jackson para la composición. A pesar de los cambios en su alineación y las pausas en su carrera, Joe Jackson Band dejó una marca indeleble en la música con éxitos como “Is She Really Going Out with Him?” y “It’s Different for Girls”, además de su influencia en la segunda invasión británica de los años 80
