Kate Garner

KATE GARNER, nacida el 9 de julio de 1954 en Wigan, Lancashire, es una fotógrafa, artista plástica y cantante británica. Expulsada del colegio a los 16 años, se unió al culto de los Niños de Dios y huyó de Londres a la India en 1970. Tras ser encontrada por sus padres, asistió a la escuela de arte en Blackpool y se trasladó a Londres, donde comenzó a fotografiar y modelar para revistas emergentes como The Face e i-D. Saltó a la fama como una tercera parte del proyecto pop de vanguardia de los años 80, Haysi Fantayzee, junto con Jeremy Healy y Paul Caplin. Después de la disolución del grupo, Garner se dedicó a la pintura, la fotografía y el video, colaborando con artistas como Sinéad O’Connor y fotografiando a celebridades como Patti Smith, Angelina Jolie y Kate Moss
