Killermeters

KILLERMETERS, una banda británica de mod revival, se formó en Huddersfield, Inglaterra, en 1978. Aunque comenzaron como una banda punk llamada The Killer Meters, se reformaron en octubre del mismo año como The Killermeters. Su energía y estilo los convirtieron en una de las bandas más destacadas de la escena musical en Yorkshire. A pesar de las advertencias sobre la imagen mod, lograron apoyo y reconocimiento en la prensa musical y compartieron escenario con bandas como Secret Affair y The Undertones. Desafortunadamente, una gira con Eddie & The Hot Rods los dejó en números rojos, y la banda finalmente se disolvió, renaciendo como Soldiers are Dreamers en 1981
