L.L. COOL J es un rapero y actor estadounidense, nacido el 14 de enero de 1968 en Queens, Nueva York3. Es considerado como uno de los pioneros y referentes del hip hop, con una exitosa carrera que se extiende desde la década de los 80 hasta la actualidad. Ha publicado 13 álbumes de estudio, de los cuales seis han sido platino y uno doble platino. Ha ganado dos premios Grammy, un premio MTV Video Music Award y un premio NAACP Image Award, entre otros. También ha participado en más de 30 películas y series de televisión, destacando su papel de Sam Hanna en NCIS: Los Ángeles
