Lakeside

LAKESIDE es una influyente banda de funk estadounidense originaria de Dayton, Ohio, activa desde 1969 y conocida principalmente por su éxito número uno en R&B de 1980, “Fantastic Voyage”. La banda se formó inicialmente como “The Young Underground” y, tras varios cambios de nombre y miembros, se estableció como Lakeside, firmando con Solar Records. A lo largo de los años, han destacado por su energético estilo funk, sus memorables actuaciones en vivo y su habilidad para fusionar el funk con el soul y el R&B, dejando un legado duradero en la música afroamericana
