Malcolm McLaren

MALCOLM MCLAREN (22 de enero de 1946 - 8 de abril de 2010) fue un diseñador de moda inglés y manager musical. Fue promotor y manager de bandas de punk rock y new wave como New York Dolls, Sex Pistols, Adam and the Ants, y Bow Wow Wow, y fue un arquitecto comercial temprano de la subcultura punk. McLaren se crió con su abuela después de que su padre abandonara el hogar familiar. Asistió a varias escuelas de arte británicas en los años 60, donde se involucró en el arte underground y el activismo de izquierda. Desde 1974 hasta 1976 operó la boutique Chelsea Sex con su novia Vivienne Westwood, la cual ayudó a dar forma a la moda punk temprana y se convirtió en un centro temprano para la subcultura en Londres
