MANTRONIK (Kurtis el Khaleel) y el rapero MC Tee (Touré Embden), el grupo experimentó con varios cambios estilísticos y de integrantes a lo largo de sus siete años de existencia (1984-1991), pasando del old school rap al electro funk. Son recordados principalmente por su mezcla original y fuertemente sintetizada de old school hip hop con electro funk
