Mark Knopfler

MARK KNOPFLER, nacido el 12 de agosto de 1949 en Glasgow, Escocia, es un destacado cantante, guitarrista, productor y compositor británico. Antes de su carrera en la música, trabajó como periodista y profesor. Es ampliamente reconocido como el fundador, guitarrista principal y vocalista de la banda Dire Straits. Su estilo único de tocar la guitarra sin púa lo ha establecido como uno de los músicos más influyentes en la historia del rock. Además de su trabajo con Dire Straits, Knopfler ha participado en otros proyectos musicales, ha compuesto bandas sonoras para películas y ha disfrutado de una exitosa carrera en solitario
