Marshall Crenshaw

MARSHALL CRENSHAW, nacido el 11 de noviembre de 1953 en Detroit, es un músico, cantante y compositor estadounidense. Es conocido por sus éxitos “Someday, Someway”, “Cynical Girl” y “Whenever You’re on My Mind”. Su música tiene influencias del soul clásico y de Buddy Holly, a quien interpretó en la película biográfica “La Bamba” de 1987. Crenshaw comenzó su carrera en el musical “Beatlemania” antes de lanzar su álbum homónimo en 1982. Aunque no ha repetido el éxito comercial de sus primeros discos, su obra sigue siendo aclamada por la crítica y ha compuesto canciones para otros artistas como Kirsty MacColl y The Gin Blossoms
