Melba Moore

MELBA MOORE, cuyo nombre de nacimiento es Beatrice Melba Hill o Beatrice Melba Smith (las fuentes difieren), es una cantante y actriz estadounidense nacida el 29 de octubre de 1945 en Nueva York. Creció en Harlem y luego se mudó a Newark, Nueva Jersey. Se graduó en música por Montclair State College en 1970. Comenzó su carrera discográfica en 1967 y ganó un premio Tony en 1970 por su actuación en el musical “Purlie”. Su carrera incluye una variedad de géneros como pop, soul, R&B, disco y gospel, y ha estado activa desde 1966 hasta la actualidad
