Menta

MENTA surgió en la escena pop española en 1980 con un EP de cuatro canciones bajo la multinacional EMI-Odeón. Originarios de Ponferrada, León, el grupo estaba compuesto por Toño Sierra (voz y guitarra rítmica), Jesús San Sebastián (bajo), Luis Tizado (guitarra solista) y Mario Tascón (batería). Su estilo pop-rock con influencias beat y R&B no encontró gran expectación en su momento, pero lograron grabar para el sello de sus admirados The Beatles, dejando una huella en la música pop de la época
