MERC AND MONK es un dúo musical compuesto por Eric Mercury y Thelonious Monk III. Eric Mercury, conocido por su distintiva voz y estilo, y Thelonious Monk III, hijo del legendario pianista de jazz Thelonious Monk, unieron fuerzas en la década de 1980 para crear música que fusiona elementos de Funk, Soul y Pop. Su colaboración resultó en la producción de varios temas memorables, destacándose especialmente el maxisingle Baby Face, que refleja la vibrante escena musical de los años 80
