Modern Romance

MODERN ROMANCE fue una banda británica de pop latino y salsa que gozó de popularidad entre 1980 y 1985. Conocidos por su estilo distintivo que mezclaba ritmos latinos con elementos del pop de la época, lanzaron varios éxitos que se posicionaron bien en las listas de música del Reino Unido. La banda se formó después de la disolución del grupo punk Leyton Buzzards, cuando dos de sus miembros, Geoff Deane y David Jaymes, decidieron cambiar de dirección musical. Modern Romance es recordado por temas como “Best Years of Our Lives” y “Ay Ay Ay Ay Moosey”, y por su contribución al colorido panorama musical de los años 80
