Mtume

MTUME fue una banda de funk y soul estadounidense que alcanzó la fama en la década de 1980. Fueron liderados por el percusionista James Mtume, quien anteriormente había trabajado con artistas como Miles Davis. Son mejor conocidos por su sencillo “Juicy Fruit”, que alcanzó el número uno en la lista de R&B de Billboard en 1983. A lo largo de su carrera, “Mtume” fue elogiado por su habilidad para fusionar géneros y su enfoque innovador de la música funk y soul.
