New York Skyy

NEW YORK SKYY también conocida simplemente como “Skyy”, es una banda estadounidense de funk y disco que se formó en 1973 en Nueva York. Son conocidos por su distintivo sonido de funk y sus enérgicas actuaciones en vivo. La banda estaba compuesta por los hermanos Solomon Roberts, Anibal Anthony Sierra y Gerald Lebon, y las hermanas Denise, Delores y Bonné Dunning. Alcanzaron la fama en la década de 1980 con éxitos como “Call Me”, “Start of a Romance” y “Real Love”. Aunque no han lanzado nueva música en los últimos años, “New York Skyy” sigue siendo una figura influyente en la música funk y disco.
