Nick Lowe

NICHOLAS DRAIN LOWE, nacido el 24 de marzo de 1949, es un influyente cantautor, músico y productor inglés conocido por su papel clave en los géneros del pub rock, power pop y new wave. Con una carrera que comenzó en 1967, Lowe ha grabado una serie de álbumes en solitario bien recibidos y es famoso por canciones como “Cruel to Be Kind” y “I Love the Sound of Breaking Glass”, así como por su trabajo de producción con artistas como Elvis Costello y Graham Parker. Además, Lowe escribió “(What’s So Funny 'Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding”, que fue un éxito para Costello. Su carrera también incluye ser miembro fundador de la banda Brinsley Schwarz y colaborar con Dave Edmunds en Rockpile, dejando una marca indeleble en la música contemporánea
