Nu Shooz

NU SHOOZ es una banda de música de Portland, Oregón, Estados Unidos, que tuvo varios éxitos en las listas de pop y R&B a mediados de la década de 1980. La banda es conocida por su sonido distintivo que combina elementos de funk, soul, synth-pop y post-disco. Su mayor éxito, “I Can’t Wait”, alcanzó el número 3 en la lista Billboard Hot 100 en 1986. La banda fue formada por el matrimonio de John Smith y Valerie Day. Aunque Nu Shooz no ha lanzado nueva música desde hace algún tiempo, su influencia en la música pop y dance sigue siendo fuerte.
